The 125mm Super Service lamp is designed to last up to 5 times longer than a standard Globe lamp. Globe lamps are used extensively by hotel groups and furniture manufacturers as well as in many decorative applications, but the ordinary Globes are notoriously short lived. The Greenstock Super Service Globe is rated at 5,000 Hours, 5 times the life of a standard Globe, thus greatly reducing maintenance costs, whilst maintaining the design effect. Our long life is achieved by using the highest grade non sag tungsten, with multiple supports for filament protection. We also use special chemical compounds inside the bulb to eliminate the impurities which cause filament failure.
